6.  For your first web site, you might consider using the Yahoo! Page Wizard.  The Page Wizard allows you to select a format/theme for your web site.  All you need to do is input the information you want in your webpage.  If you have a web page design program, you can upload your file to Yahoo! Geocities through the "File manager" or "easy upload" option.  Below, I have outlined the basic steps in utilizing the Page Wizard.  This site has a lot of options when building a website.  Feel free to try different things out.

PageWizard Tips
Tip 1. Making Changes
To make changes to pages you already made, find and launch the PageWizard as you had done the first time. You will see a pull-down menu that lists the pages you worked on with that PageWizard. Select the page you were working on, follow the steps and make your changes.

Tip 2. Customizing pages
Did you know that you can customize the pages you make with PageWizards? You can open up your pages with Yahoo! PageBuilder! Simply launch PageBuilder and then click "Open." Try it!
(Note: PageBuilder will take 3-5 minutes to load over a 28.8 modem.)

Tip 3. Finding help
If you are having trouble or want to find out more, visit the Yahoo! PageWizards Help area.

7.  When you select a theme or page design that you like, a window will pop up.

8.  Click Begin and select a look for your webpage

9.  Then, input information about you, or the purpose for your webpage.

10.  Your next step is to upload a photograph or picture.  If you have a picture file on your computer that you wish to use, you can upload it here.  If not, you can use the default image offered by Yahoo!

11.  Next is the inputting of your favorite links.  This is completely optional, but if you have some favorites include them here.

12.  Then enter your information (if you want)

13.  Then your website is complete.  Here is a sample of a possible look! http://www.geocities.com/muirtrial/techie.html
